Clannad ~after story~ episode 18 -The ends of the Earth-

Photobucket

Sorry guys/gals for the hold up, I’ve been busy with university preparation plus lack of motivation to do this. Having slow internet due to my ISP adds into the problem too. At first I thought I would quit doing blogging stuff when my semester is started. Having lack of support for this blog also helps demoralizing me to think about this (No offense intended. My fault for not being strong enough).  But it seems that I still have some doubts on doing so, so I will go on with blogging stuffs for now. So I will do my best to keep on doing this =)

The format for my weekly clannad post will be much different than my clannad ~after story~ episode 17 and episode 16 posts. This post will be less detailed and the pictures will be lumped together just like in Random Curiosity and most blogging sites. Sorry if this seems to be uncomfortable for some people but bear it with me.

So let’s get the show on the road!

This cause to Ushio to run off to the toilet, to cry. Ushio mentions to her father that she can only can cried at toilet and this makes Tomoya wonder about that. On the way, Tomoya buy for Ushio a toy robot. Ushio gladly accept it. At night, they are staying in an inn. While watching fireflies, Ushio asked her father about her mother, Nagisa. Tomoya refused to answer it and left her. The next morning, they arrived at their destination. While on journey, they come across to a beautiful field of sunflowers. There, they rest for awhile. Not long after that, Ushio lost her toy robot, so both her and Tomoya search for it but they can’t found it. While resting, suddenly Tomoya can see flashbacks of a boy with his father. He decided to follow them when the figures move out from the sunflower field. He come across an old lady. She is Okazaki Shino, grandmother of Tomoya. She then tells a story about her son who is Tomoya’s father. She describes how her son lives a happy life, having Tomoya as their newborn son until the death of her son’s wife. That’s where her son is in despair state but despite that her son still has Tomoya to care for. Tomoya’s father tried his best to care for his son despite hardships he faced. But soon, he was under a huge stress so he started drinking to relieve the pain. Even so, he still choses to stay by his son side. Soon, he began to lost everything; faith, work and friends. It soon come to Tomoya that his father is a good father to him and how weak of him compare to his father. After that, his grandmother suggest to bring back Tomoya’s father to his hometown. When both of them arrived at the field of sunflowers, Ushio still busy finding her lost toy robot. The reason Ushio is still insist of finding the toy robot is because the toy is first precious present from her father. That’s when Tomoya asked Ushio forgiveness and promised to be a good father from now on. Finally, Ushio reveals that besides toilet, she can cried on the arms of her father. After hearing that, both of them hug and cried together T_T. During the journey to go back to their home, Tomoya tells Ushio about her mother. While describing about his late wife, tears starting to flow from his eyes with his daughter follow suit T_T. Finally, Tomoya mentioned that he has a precious person to protect.

Judging from the preview, both of them seems to be in the right track and it seems Tomoya is going to visit his father to solve the problem between both of them.

So far, this episode is the most saddest episode in Clannad ~after story~.  The episode seems to be good and no complaints from me either. So see you in my next post!
